Backup way to open engine hatch?

I just picked up an '01 Checkmate and I'm missing the manual. Any idea how to manually open the electric engine hatch if it gets stuck?

Most of those have a pull-pin or a hidden release cable tucked near the rear seat. If you cannot find it, you may have to crawl through the ski locker to reach the latch from underneath.
