After years of drooling over Checkmates, I finally picked up a 2100BR last month and I couldn't be more pumped because it turned out to be exactly what I was after, it's currently rigged with a 200hp merc, stock prop, and pretty basic gauges but I'm planning to set it up for both fun runs and the occasional lake blast with the family so I'm seeking setup ideas and also open to thoughts on upholstery upgrades and how to make the bowrider layout a little more versatile

For your mix of fun runs and family outings, a good starting point for setup would be to invest in a quality hydrofoil, like a Permatrim or SE Sport, to help with planning at lower speeds when you have a heavier load.
A prop with a slightly lower pitch, maybe a 21 or 22 pitch four-blade, could give you better hole shot for watersports without sacrificing too much top end on the 200hp Merc.
