Swapping cuddy door for sliding door

Thinking about swapping out the swing style cuddy door on my Checkmate for a sliding setup, the current door is fine though, but it's always in the way when open and it disturbs when I'm moving around in the cockpit
What are your thoughts about this and is it worth it, in the area of actual usability or in the area of aesthetics

Sliding door's a great upgrade, and from what I know, it is way better for cockpit flow and looks cleaner too, so you'll get more usable space and fewer bumps moving around

I agree, If you're already annoyed by the current door, you'll likely appreciate the difference every time you're out on the water.

I imagine a sliding cuddy door can definitely improve cockpit flow and it can give you a much cleaner and more modern look.
But I think the main downside would be ensuring a good seal to prevent water intrusion along with the cost and effort of the swap.
Maybe something worth to consider!
