Upgrading, seeking advice

I'm upgrading to a full Holley Sniper EFI system with the electronic distributor and thermostat cooling setup. I’ve got a well-kept 1979 Checkmate Entertainer 21 with a Ford 460 and Berkeley jet pump, owned since 1980 and always garaged. Anyone else run this setup on a jet boat or big block marine engine? Would love to hear your experiences, performance, tuning, or install tips. Thanks!!

A buddy of mine did something similar back in the day and he's very happy with the upgrade. Claims to have slightly better fuel economy, better throttle response and doesn't struggle with starting on slightly colder days. Whatevery you do, just make sure the fuel delivery system is upgraded as well, otherwise you'll have worst performance than now.

I like that advice, thank you.
